There is no real "recipe" here. Simply use gluten-free ingredients and have fun! We used about 2 dozen marshmallows, a bag of Glutino Pretzel Sticks, about 2 cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips, and sprinkles. I scored the bottom of each marshmallow to make inserting the pretzel stick a bit easier, so the marshmallow wouldn't get squished. Then I set up an assembly line work station and my 10 year old took over. She had so much fun dipping the marshmallows in the melted chocolate and then in the sprinkles.
She loved making this treat and bringing it to a New Year's Eve party. Just use seasonal sprinkles and these treats will work well for any occasion!
In June of 2011 my husband and then 5 year old son were diagnosed with Celiac Disease. Their diagnosis has been life altering for our family of 5. This blog is dedicated to raising awareness and education about Celiac Disease. I also aim to provide information for families and educators, gluten-free product reviews, helpful hints, gluten-free family friendly recipes and personal stories from our gluten-free life.
So cute and so simple! Love it! Got it pinned and tweeted! Thanks for linking up at Gluten Free Fridays! :)
